Fu-Yam is situated in a valley surrounded by the beautiful La La mountain. Greeted by the cherry blossoms and the amazing sceneries, I thought I was in a dream. The three rooms that my friends and I stayed in are clean, cozy and cute. And they reminded me so much of my house back in Canada.
The hosts were very hospitable. And the food was superb! I love how they grow their own vegetables and make them into traditional hakka cuisine (just like how mommy used to make for me). They also provide unlimited herbal tea and other drinks in the dining room for everyone to enjoy.
In my humble opinion, staying up, drinking a pot of nice herbal tea, and enjoying the stars and the companion in my own front yard is by far the best way to celebrate any holidays.
